Judy Hunter Director of Operations

Judy has been employed with Creative Minds
Montessori School since opening in 2008 in the position of Director of
Operations. Prior to CMMS, Judy was the President of Hunter Human Resource
Solutions, Inc., a Human Resource Consultant located in Boyertown, PA.
Judy is a result-oriented, human resources professional,
with over twenty-five years of demonstrated success in the areas of
recruitment, employment law, employee relations, conflict resolution, safety,
management training, and workers’ compensation. Ms. Hunter has completed
numerous trainings and career courses and has been published in the 422
Business Advisor. She holds her AA in Business Management from Ursinus College
and BS in Phycology and Organizational Behavior Albright College. Ms. Hunter
always makes sure everything is running smoothly behind the scenes so that our
focus is strictly the students and their individualized educational journey.

 

Danielle DeForge Assistant Director

Danielle joined our staff in 2017 and is the Assistant Director of Creative Minds Montessori School. Prior to her employment with CMMS, Danielle worked in early education for over 16 years. Ms. DeForge holds a Director’s Credential from the State of Pennsylvania and has applied her credentials to her work in several different school districts throughout the state. Danielle holds a BS in Elementary Education from the University of Vermont. Ms. DeForge helps assist new students and families in getting acclimated to our Montessori family and seeing that all questions get answered. She is great at making new families feel welcomed into ours immediately and insuring the confidence needed to start their Montessori journey with us at Creative Minds. 

Mandy Lobaugh Owner, Primary 2 - Lead Teacher

Mandy Lobaugh opened Creative Minds Montessori School in 2008. She was the Lead Teacher in our Toddler Classroom until 2018. Currently she is the Lead Teacher in our Primary 2 Classroom. Mandy holds a BA in Psychology form Cedar Crest College. In addition, she has completed her AMS Infant/Toddler Certification from Princeton Center Teacher Education. She has also completed her Early Childhood Certification from North America Montessori Center. Prior to opening CMMS, Mandy began her Montessori journey in her own home where she held a Montessori Classroom. Mandy has over 20 years of experience in childcare, 15 of those years are in Montessori Education. Mandy is continually amazed by what children are able to learn when they are given respect and provided a “prepared environment”.

Jacqueline Jamison Infant - Lead Teacher

Jacqueline Jamison began her employment with Creative Minds Montessori School as an Assistant Teacher in our Primary Classroom in 2015 and later was promoted to Lead Teacher in our Infant Classroom. Jacqui holds a BA in Fashion Marketing from Philadelphia University. She has completed her Infant/Toddler/and Two’s Certification from North America Montessori Center. Ms. Jamison applies her artistic ability to her work by taking charge in many of our school art projects, shows, and creative work for the children. Ms. Jamison works hard to lay a strong foundation of growth for our youngest learners. 

Nicole Causland Toddler - Lead Teacher

Nicole Causland joined our staff in 2019. She is currently the Lead Teacher in our Toddler Classroom. She has completed her Infant/Toddler Certification from North America Montessori Center. Nicole came to Creative Minds Montessori with 2 years of childcare experience.  Nicole loves to watch the children grow from the time they join her classroom in diapers to the time they move up to the primary classrooms fully potty-trained. Ms. Causland is devoted to working with her students at each of their individual paces. She encourages new skills and responsibilities in engaging hands-on ways that promote eagerness to learn from the children.

Kristina Gabel Primary 1 Lead Teacher

Kristina Gabel joined our staff in 2018. She was a paraprofessional at the Boyertown Area School District in the Elementary Classrooms for 2 years. Kristina is the Lead Teacher in our Primary 1 Classroom. She has completed her Primary Certification from North America Montessori Center and is finishing her Degree in Early Childhood Education from Liberty University. Kristina brightens her students’ day by always wearing a smile on her face and maintaining a positive outlook. Ms. Gabel leads a youth group that is held within her church community. There, she coordinates outings, activities and meetings to encourage an inclusive environment for children of all ages. She brings this same attitude and drive to the classroom, where she strives for inclusiveness and unity. 

Melissa Zawislak Elementary - Lead Teacher

Melissa Zawislak has worked at Creative Minds Montessori School since our opening in 2008. She was our Lead Teacher in our Primary 1 Classroom from 2008 until 2018. She has become our Elementary Teacher teaching grades K – 3rd grade. Prior to joining our staff, Melissa worked at an alternative school, teaching high school for 3 years. Melissa hold a BS in Special Education K-12 from Bloomsburg University. She earned her Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from West Chester University. In addition, she hold a Private Academic License from the Pennsylvania Department of Education. She completed her AMS Early Childhood Certification from Princeton Center Teacher Education. In addition, she has completed her Early Elementary Certification from North America Montessori Center. Ms. Zawislak offers a bright and bubbly classroom, much like herself. She promotes positive learning and self-discovery for each of her students. She encourages her students to find what interests them most and she helps guide them when they feel stuck or unsure. She also helps her students develop accountability, manners, and responsibility. As the children grow, she helps each of them in pathing their way to success!
